The Zen Buddhist Order and Temple Cheong Ryang Sa is a sangha of the Korean Taego order https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taego_Order .  Our school’s purpose is to make the practice of Seon or Zen as accessible as possible. It is our wish to help human beings find their true direction and our vow to save all beings from suffering. We offer Zen Meditation through instruction, daily morning and evening meditation practice, public talks, teaching interviews, retreats, workshops, and community living. Our programs are open to anyone regardless of previous experience. We emphasize daily mindfulness practice so people are able to take these practices back into their daily lives and find peace and presence in the moment. Mindfulness practice is an essential step in liberating us from unnecessary stress we are burdened with in modern life.  Buddhism is 2500 year wisdom tradition and Ven. BupSahng a Taego ordained monk and spiritual director has spent 20 plus years as a Buddhist practitioner conduction and attending silent intensives throughout the years and receiving instruction and empowerment’s from His Holiness the Dalai Lama and other great Zen Masters and Yogis.  Though daily monk practice can be strenuous to maintain the dharma light we do not place those expectations on our members and welcome all who have a sincere hearts to discover what is always present beyond name and form.
